The future is already there in Singapore. It’s by far the cleanest and the most advanced city I have ever been to during all my travels. When having a stroll through the modern city core which is defined by dozens of incredibly enormous looking skyscrapers, you won’t find a single piece of trash or a trampled chewing gum on the floor anywhere. By the way, the government of Singapore forbids chewing gums in order to keep the streets clean. And in order to keep it clean, it is also the city of the most “forbidden signs” in the world. However, it seems to work for Singapore – the City is extremely clean and way more developed if you compare it to neighboring cities such as the megacities Jakarta or Bangkok.
Once you visit the famous “Gardens by the bay“, have a look at the skyline and the “Marina Bay Sands Hotel” and enjoy the botanical gardens, you will feel like being part of a Star Wars movie.
Well, you are here for the images, I guess – so let me show you some of Singapore’s best views!
