LIGHTROOM PRESETS – EDIT LIKE A PRO!

(Higher loading time possible due to many high res photos – Please be patient)

Being out in the field and shooting awesome landscapes and photographies is only half of the work. The other half is what you can get out of the potential that you have captured in your photos. The keyword is post-processing. If you have ever tried to post process your photos in detail you know the struggle of defining all the different adjustments. It took me countless hours of practical exercise until I reached a level of post-processing that I would consider as good. Save your time and grab your presets today. Presets can be used in Adobe Lightroom. Open an image, apply the preset and there you go! In some cases, you will have to do a real quick and easy adjustment to make the editing fit perfectly with your photos. If you own a premium subscription on Adobe Lightroom CC, you can also use these presets on your phone with the Lightroom app.

  • For using presets, you will need the program Adobe Lightroom CC or Adobe Lightroom Classic CC.

You can then purchase the preset pack and get access to download the files right after the purchase and payment.

If you purchase the presets and you have a paid Lightroom CC  or Lightroom Classic CC subscription, you will also be able to use the presets on your smartphone with the free “Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC” smartphone app on both Android and iOS.

  1. Unzip the Zip file and you will receive a folder with “xmp” files for Lightroom CC 7.3 and higher and a folder with “lrtemplate” files for Lightroom versions before 7.3.
  2. You will now have to import these files into Lightroom. Open Lightroom, go to the “Develop” tool and you will have a section, called “presets”, on the left.
Just click the “plus” button and choose “import presets”. Now choose the files that you have previously unzipped in step 1.
  3. You can now use the presets by clicking on them.
IF you have a Lightroom CC ABO, you can also use the presets on Phone when using the “Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC” app, since your presets are synced since Version 3.5.

In the preset pack you will get 10 presets for different situations.

The Beautiful Landscapes preset contains 10 presets for different situations as Daytime, Moody Landscapes, Warm Sunsets and Night Skies.

  • Daytime presets are used for images captured during the bright part of a day. They make your image look crisper. There are three Daytime Presets:
    • Daytime Basic Crisp – A great basic editing on your photo.
    • Daytime Mirror Reflection – Perfect for photos with water and reflections in it.
    • Daytime Warm Sun  – Brings up the warm side of a day in your picture.
  • Warm Sunset presets are used to bring a wonderful sunset (or sunrise) into your picture. Right, even if there wasn’t one in the scenery. There are three of them:
    • Warm Sunset Basic – This brings in a basic sunset due to a personally created radial filter. Simply adjust the filter to the sky in your photo and you are ready to go with a warm Sunset Mood.
    • Warm Sunset & Purple Sky – This covers your photo in a sunset scenery that is very intensive and warm. The sky will have a light purple touch thus it looks that sun is just about to go down.
    • Warm Sunset Fairytale – One of my favorites: This sunset brings a dreamy mood into your photo with a soft and warm sunset. You will love it!
  • Cold Moody presets will emphasize the rough and moody side of a beautiful landscape and scenery. Again, there are three of them:
    • Cold Moody Dark Forest – The perfect choice when it comes to greens and browns. It gives you photo a slightly matte look and covers it in a moody atmosphere. The colors are reduced thus you will achieve a cinematic look.
    • Cold Moody Dark Matte – This gives a dark touch to your photo. You will probably need to adjust the brightness a bit since this preset is a very dark and moody one. It emphasizes the strong mood of any nature sides. Make sure that you apply this preset only if the scenery fits a dark and moody look. For example, this preset fits better a strong waterfall than a field of grass with colorful flowers.
    • Cold Moody Rough Landscape – This is the preset of your choice if you want to create a really moody look by emphasizing the strength of rough landscapes. Nature can be terrifying sometimes yet so beautiful if you emphasize this correctly.
  • Night Sky – This preset is made for sceneries in which the night sky should be brought up. Photograph a clear night sky, use the presets and you will be able to spot more stars than your human eye could ever be able to.
